No, the Sunflower lanyard is there for people to wear if they choose, to discreetly indicate that they have a hidden disability and may need some support, understanding or simply a little more time. You can clip one of the Sunflower cards to it if you would like to provide more specific information. When you choose to wear the Sunflower, you might be asked if you need any help when you visit one of our participating businesses. This has not changed. All of our participating organisations will continue to recognise the lanyard, whether you have the generic Sunflower card or the new personalised version.
